Peter M. Vilim is a Managing Member of Waterton Associates L.L.C. Founded in 1995, Waterton is an investment manager specializing in apartment property investment and repositioning nationwide. Waterton's joint venture partners include high-net-worth family investment trusts, investment banking firms, corporate and municipal pension plans and endowment funds. Prior to forming Waterton, Mr. Vilim held the positions of Midwest Regional Vice President of Berkshire Realty Company, Inc., and Vice President of Investments for AMLI Realty Co., the forerunner of AMLI Residential Property Trust. Mr. Vilim received an Accounting degree from the University of Illinois and a Masters degree in Taxation from DePaul University. He has been a guest lecturer in the Real Estate Investment curriculum at The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and a featured speaker on real estate investment trends.
